Northfield Farm, Cold Overton
Northfield Farm source and produce premium quality Beef, Lamb and Pork. They sell their own Dexter and White Park Cattle – one of the oldest British Breeds. Their shop also sells a wide range of other meat and local products. A farm walk will keep the kids amused.
Northfield Farm has been accredited as a butcher by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
They also have what they describe as an ‘informal co-operative’ of around 50 suppliers who breed, rear & finish rare and traditional breeds for sale at Northfield.
Cheese, smoked salmon, honey, locally baked fresh bread, vegetables and local beers are also sold.
Northfield Farm have a stall at both Borough and Broadway Markets in London. They are often featured in the press and Northfield Farm Beef Sirloin was chosen by chef Sat Bains, as his main course, when he won the first round of BBC 2's Great British Menu.
The farm also has a tea room.
