Situated a few miles into Derbyshire, Caroline Royston and Andrew Gray at Sealwood Farm are salad producers in their own right, but are primarily listed here because of their online shop which offers such a wide range of local produce for delivery in the West of Leicestershire.
To quote from their website, "We were inspired to start Sealwood from the interest we received from customers whilst selling our produce at local farmers' markets. Because most farmers' markets are held monthly our customers asked us where they could buy our produce between markets. Distribution for small producers is difficult and usually not viable. So, we decided to make it easier for customers to buy from their favourite small local producers on a regular basis."
Forget ASDA, TESCO and Sainsburys you can now order your weekly shopping from a local supplier selling local produce. Unlike the big supermarkups [sic] you don't even pay for delivery!
