Sysonby Knoll Hotel Honey
Gavin Howling has kept bees for over 30 years, and for the last 15 they have been mainly at Sysonby Knoll Hotel in Melton Mowbray.
The honey is not processed in any way apart from fine straining to remove impurities. The filters they use are not sufficiently fine to remove pollen grains from the honey so the honey may help people with hayfever.
The honey is available to buy from the reception at the hotel and also at Dickinson & Morris in Melton Mowbray.
