Manor Organic Farm, Long Whatton
Manor Organic Farm really try to keep things local! They sell their own organic beef and lamb and their pork comes from a neighbour just next door.
Bacon, Sausages and burgers are all made at the farm as is marmalade, although the oranges are obviously not local!
Chickens come from Ashbourne and Sutton Bonnington, milk and cream from Lubcloud Dairies, Stilton from Webster's at Saxelby near Melton Mowbray. Veg is mainly from Eden Farms at Lincoln and Honey from Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.
The farm is rightly proud of its, in house, bakery offering organic bread produced from stoneground flour made from the farm's own wheat.
